As of 3 Sept 20 BLM and BLM allies have been protesting vicinity of Battery Park, Burlington, Vermont. Numbers have grown over the 6 days of protest up to now with around 1,000 protesters being in attendance. Protest has remained largely non-violent though there have been cases of vandalism to include the smashing of car windshields vicinity of the protest. Additionally protesters have attempted to impede travel on roads vicinity of the protest.
Recommendations(s):
Avoid Burlington, Montpelier, Barre and Brattleboro until the protests end. Additionally contact city administration(s) and local businesses and let them know you won't be travelling to spend your money in areas where they can't ensure the security of the population.
