ALCON,

Regarding the recent post "developing useful intel" - AmCon has generated intelligence via threat warnings and strategic overviews via this means. Part of the issue is the nature of this platform. We will work with the web developer so that AmCon generated material is kept on the site so that it doesn't disappear as the threads push items to the bottom. More to follow on this. Up to now we are where we forecasted we would be. The insurgency has and is moving from strictly urban areas to suburban and rural areas. Intensity of the insurrection has increased. Targeted killings have begun. The overall situation at this time is one of transition. Insurgent activity is transitioning from civil insurrection into classical insurgent or Maoist revolutionary warfare. This was all previously forecasted and propagated here. SIGACTS (reports of recent insurgent activity) are of importance as they assist in:

• Keeping the end user informed at to recent and/or current insurgent activity
• Serve as a lesson learned for the membership
• Identification of insurgent TTP (tactic/technique/procedure)
• Mapping of insurgent strengths and weakness's
• Geocoordinate of insurgent locations
• Identification of insurgent rat lines (lines of supply and support)
• Identification of insurgent key leaders
• Potential future intent

We are currently in the transition point between civil insurrection and Maoist revolutionary warfare. At this time members need to avoid the fray and be wary of insurgent activity. Do NOT engage the insurgents offensively. Defense is the priority at the current time as well as preparing for follow on activity sometime after November. Traditionalist forces need to 1. maintain the moral high ground 2. not degrade future "combat readiness"

In irregular warfare the moral domain is the domain you need to dominate if you intend on achieving victory. Keep to the moral high ground.
