BLM and BLM affiliated entities are conducting a variety of protests over the weekend.
There is an on-going protest at Battery Park in Burlington. The park is currently occupied with numbers of attendees varying depending on time of day.
On Saturday 29AUG20 Peace and Justice Center along with allies is holding a protest in Williston that is scheduled from 2PM to 4PM. They want to protest ICE and DHS. They will hold the protest at the ICE Data Center located at 188 Harvest Lane, Williston
Recommendations(s):
Avoid protests at this time. While protests in Vermont have largely been uneventful there is always the chance that the situation could degrade into violence.
